GJD AeroTechGJD AeroTech is an EASA Part 145 Line Maintenance Organisation providing parking and storage facilities for aircraft from any geographic location. The service includes comprehensive aircraft storage maintenance checks, including the return of an aircraft to service, and maintaining AD and Maintenance Programme compliance.
Through the Part 145 approval granted by the UK CAA, GJD AeroTech also has the ability to provide release to service certification for parts removed from EU registered aircraft, subject to the strict criteria embodied in Part 145, as part of the aircraft tear-down and disposal service, carried out by our sister company GJD Services*. GJD's main base is located at Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome, between the airports of Birmingham and East Midlands, with London Heathrow 75 minutes away and London Luton 45 minutes by car with easy access down the M1 Motorway.
Facilities at Bruntingthorpe include a 3000 metre runway and hangarage that can accommodate up to a B767 sized aircraft, together with ample parking space and a dedicated aircraft breaking pan.
